The ride was awesome. Charles couldn't look away from the amazing coastal ocean views the whole way. Gordon while tempted managed to stay focussed (mostly) on the road. The alternative would have been ugly with huge drop offs at every turn.
Lunched in Bandon enjoying another super Halibut meal.
Arrived in Gold Beach around two. Stopped by Jerry's Jet Boat tours to pick up our tickets for tomorrow's adventure and afterwards checked in at our motel. Very spiffy and only $107!
Went exploring in the late afternoon and found some interesting photo spots than stopped at the local bookstore for a browse before dinner.
Met a fun couple from Mt. Shasta area and we talked through the whole meal.
The man was a retired semi- conductor engineer and his wife a retired forest ranger. Interesting couple.
Out for a cigar on the beach after dinner and then rest before tomorrow's adventure.
