Day 3 - The Rogue River

What a day!  On the jet boats at 9am followed by a thrilling four hour very fast ride up the Rogue River.  This is not a trip for anyone with a weak bladder a flabby belly or a butt and/or belly without muscle tone.  One bathroom stop...those who hadn't emptied their bladders of morning  coffee were pained.

So if you qualify the trip is spectacular.  104 miles of pristine river all within a protected wilderness environment.  One can't even get on this river without winning a state lottery of limited allowed river passages (Jerry's Jet boats the one exception permitted by the State-nice monopoly).

Not sure what was best; the ride or the scenery.  Lots of narrow canyons with fast water that we flew through at 40 mph.  Rapid stops when we encountered other bots and inflatable rafts drifting downriver.   Beautiful mountains around us.  Lots of wildlife most of which we couldn't photograph as we were moving to fast .....not to mention hanging on with both hands!
